Cross Country Teams Set to Host Annual Phoenix 5K April 18

The Green Bay men's and women's cross country programs are gearing up to host their annual fundraiser - the Phoenix 5K - on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. The 3.1-mile run/walk, which starts outside the Kress Events Center, is on paved surfaces winding throughout the UW-Green Bay campus. This year marks the 12th running of the event. All proceeds benefit the Phoenix cross country teams.[+]

Academic All-Horizon League Teams Announced for Fall Sports

The Horizon League announced Friday its academic all-league teams for the five fall sports, honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom. A total of six Green Bay student-athletes were selected to their respective teams after a voting by the league's faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.[+]
