Phoenix Softball Raises Awareness, Money to Fight Breast Cancer

The Green Bay Phoenix softball program recently presented the Breast Cancer Family Foundation with a check for all the money raised at Green Bay's Breast Cancer Awareness Day on April 18 when the Phoenix hosted a doubleheader against Valparaiso. In addition to money, the event also raised awareness of the non-profit organization and of breast cancer in the community.[+]

Green Bay Bows Out Of Tourney, 2-0, to Butler

The Green Bay Phoenix softball team (20-25) saw its season come to a close Friday evening by virtue of a 2-0 loss to Butler (25-27) at the 2009 Horizon League Championship. The Bulldogs went 4-0 against the Phoenix this year, as Green Bay mustered just one run in the four meetings.[+]
